Welcome to the Womantree
The Womantree is a large-scale art installation coming to Burning Man 2024. The piece is a meditation on the lives and legacy of women, their stories, and our connection to them.

Generations Entwined
From a distance, Womantree appears to be a large tree 'growing' in a barren landscape. Approaching it, one discovers the tree is created from castings of real women! The trunk and branches are formed by the figures and faces of generations of women, supporting each other, growing together, connected in a mossy embrace.
The piece represents the strength and stories of women, their ability to thrive and support each other through various challenges. The tree, a natural symbol of life and growth, is an apt metaphor for the enduring spirit of womanhood and its connection to nature.
Womantree is not only a celebration of the complexities and beauty of the female experience but also an invitation to reflect on the broader narratives of women's lives and the journey through life, birth, growth and death.
